If you’re looking for a dog who brings brilliance, heart, and unstoppable drive all in one stunning package, Zuri is your girl. She is the kind of partner who doesn’t just join your adventures… she amplifies them.
Zuri is vibrant, clever, affectionate, and ready to work. Whether it’s agility, ranch life, or a home that thrives on activity and routine, she excels when her mind and body are engaged. If she were human, she’d be a top-tier cattle rancher - focused, fast, and fiercely loyal to her team.
Around home, Zuri is a joyful mix of silly and sweet. She scoots around playfully when you stomp your feet, sneaks in kisses any time she can, and loves her humans with her whole heart. Toys are her absolute favorite thing in the world - she’s a toy goblin with zero shame about it. Because she can be possessive of her treasures, she’ll do best with a home that can support structure and clear boundaries.
Zuri is dog-friendly with proper introductions and does well unless another dog gets directly in her face and is pushing for dominance. She’s respectful of cats that are dog savvy, but does have prey drive that will need to be managed. She’s phenomenal with older kids and adults. Her herding instincts are strong and she’s even tried rounding up the horses, but her recall is incredible. Call her name once, and she’s back at your side.
She’s fully house-trained, crate trained, knows several commands, and is highly motivated by toys, treats, and play. She does have mild separation anxiety, so she must be kenneled when left alone, but she settles beautifully in her crate.

Transport along Interstate 5 (Rowland Heights, CA to Edmonds, WA) is available but cost not included in adoption fee.
