These are dogs that are in temp foster or waiting to be brought in to the Woof Project program. The information listed for each dog is ALL the information we have on them. They need a fully committed and prepared foster to be safe and start on their journey towards a happier life.

Skillet
Male | ~2yrs | 60#
This 2-year-old, 60-lb goofy guy is ready for a place to land and a human who will let him show off his silly side. ❤️
Skillet LOVES to tug, and he’ll happily play as long as you want! He rides great in the car, is good at the vet, and has lovely manners. He’s been exposed to cats and horses and couldn’t care less about either one. 🐱🐴
He prefers the ladies over the boys and does best with slow, controlled introductions. He redirects easily and is ready to continue working on his basic skills.
With moderate energy and drive, Skillet is looking for a foster home willing to give him some structure, guidance, and plenty of tug time!

Justin is incredibly friendly, social with people, good in the car, and did great at the vet. He walks surprisingly well on a slip lead, but like most puppies with zero formal training, he’s still working on his basic manners; including keeping all four feet on the floor!
He’s low drive, moderate energy, and would absolutely love a playful dog who enjoys a good romp-and-stomp puppy play session. He’ll need a foster willing to provide structure, consistency, patience, and plenty of opportunities to learn how to be the very best version of himself.

I’m a 6-year-old, 70-pound girl with a heart as big as my… well, everything. 😏 I’m a lovely, middle-aged lady who knows what she likes and honestly, what I like most is being loved.
I’m dog-friendly, I did great in shelter playgroup, and I’m an excellent car passenger. 🎉 I have moderate energy, although I’m not exactly interested in chasing a ball. Why run after a ball when there are people to adore?!
I do have one tiny problem… I pull REALLY HARD on my leash. Like, “excuse me, I have places to be!” hard. 😂 I’m also working on my figure, so a foster home that can help me shed a few pounds with some healthy exercise would be as wonderful as learning some basic skills.
Horses? Well… let’s just say I have opinions. I may lunge and bark at them, but then I retreat to the shade like, “Okay, I have made my point. I’ll be over here now.” 😂🐴
What I really need is a foster family who will give this lovely girl a chance to relax, learn, and show you what a wonderful companion I can be.

I’m a pretty easygoing girl with low-to-moderate energy and absolutely zero interest in fetch. You throw the ball, I’ll look at you like, “Ma’am, I believe you dropped that.” 😂
I’m positive to neutral with other dogs. I enjoy playing with them, and apparently a handsome boy dog can bring out a little extra pep in my step. But honestly? People are my favorite.
