Mila
~DOB: 3/1/2024
40#
Mila is a sweet little bundle of energy and joy! She will happily crawl into your lap for some love and pets. She was pulled from the shelter with an old injury to her left eye and her medical team recommended we remove the eye. She recovered beautifully from the surgery and was a stellar patient the whole time! She LOVES going to the vet and rides wonderfully in the car. She will initially bark at dogs she sees, then settles nicely and will even engage in play when she is comfortable. At just 5-6 months old, she has so much to learn and so many ways to grow. She will do best in a home with another neutral to playful dog to help show her the ropes and build her confidence. She will need a moderately active home that will continue her training, socialization, and set her up for success.

Vince
~DOB: 2/1/2023
50#
Vince likes the company of other dogs, isn't phased by loud noises, walks nicely on the leash, and loves to play! He ignored the horses at his temp foster home, dogs running past the play area, and has moderate energy and drive. He was well-mannered, but nervous while waiting at the vets' office. He was not a fan of having his back end touched so a muzzle was used for his blood draw which he was fine with.
Vince is a happy, ball-driven, and affectionate guy who will need a moderately active home and someone to set him up for success with clear boundaries and structure. He is smart, biddable, and aims to please, so could be a candidate for low level sports that are handler focused such as rally, agility, etc.

Wagner
~DOB: 2/1/2016
65#
Wagner is a gem! This handsome, mature boy was found abandoned in a park bathroom in January and we are so pleased to be the safety net he needed. Just days after entering the rescue, his temp foster noted he became acutely ill. He was rushed to the vet where it was discovered he had been eating rubbish while in the park. After a live-saving surgery, he is feeling 110% and ready to start the journey to find his forever home.
He is well mannered at the vets' office, rides well in the car, and loves to give and get affection. He was cat tested and seems to be more fearful of them. He will need very clear boundaries and supervision if he will share a home with a cat. He has been around dogs with no issues, but slow and controlled intros are needed, as with all dogs.
He walks fairly well on a leash with a prong and enjoys going on outings. He is calm and focused on his handler and tends to ignore everyone around him.
Wagner is looking for a calm and predictable home, he is an older guy so low impact exercise is all he needs and care to be taken so he maintains a healthy weight.

Rigo
~DOB: 9/1/2021
57#
Rigo is as handsome as they come and loves nothing more than being with his person. He will happily follow you around, crawl in your lap for cuddles, or just hang out. He is low energy and drive, and has no interest in chasing a ball. He was involved in shelter playgroup, kenneled with other dogs, and has met other dogs in a neutral, but in an inquisitive way in his temp foster home. Some situations can cause him to be overstimulated which then will cause him to jump and be mouthy so a calm home with clear boundaries and lots of structure is best. He will need some help to gain confidence and be the best version of himself. He does flinch at times if a hand is raised over his head or back to pet him and can be wary of, then bark and jump away from them.
He rides well crated in the car and is quiet in his kennel until he sees you. Aren't you missing some stripes in your life? Foster this gorgeous Dutchie today!
