Are you looking for your ride or die girl? Well, Xyla is just that! This affectionate, playful, and highly intelligent pup is up for anything. She loves to learn and picks up new behaviors very quickly. Xyla is confident, fearless, and full of curiosity.
Xyla is potty trained and will go on command but often needs reminders when her puppy brain focuses on other things outside. She rushed to her crate for meals and treats, but if it’s nap time, she may protest a bit before realizing just how tired she is from racing around! She rides well in the car, is well mannered at the vets’ office, and unphased by loud noises. Food is her most loved thing in the world and she works well for food or toys during training. She has mastered her basic commands and is working diligently to become proficient in more advanced tasks. Firm verbal correction is usually enough to redirect unwanted behaviors, but depending on her level of arousal, may require leash correction to regain her focus. Continued work on house manners will keep her from checking out the counters for any tasty morsels.
Xyla is incredibly athletic and enjoys roughhousing with her foster siblings any chance she gets. Her puppy coordination often has her flying through the air and will surely have you laughing at her antics. She is friendly to new people but may alert bark when on leash. She warms up quickly, especially if food is involved.
Xyla is a dominant female who can give as good as she gets and keeps on ticking. She is extremely handler focused, responsive to requests, and thrives on interaction. She will need a handler well versed in the breed who can provide her plenty of opportunities for physical and mental stimulation. With her quick wit, confidence, and fearlessness, she may likely excel in high level sports or formal work.
Our adoption process includes- completion of an application, followed by a telephone interview.

Transport along Interstate 5 (Rowland Heights, CA to Edmonds, WA) is available but cost not included in adoption fee.
