Wendi is all pros and no cons - sweet, loves affection, eager to learn, quick to respond to commands, and doesn’t play using her teeth. She projects her affection and loyalty in her eyes and with body language. She loves the ball, and although not great at catching, she will chase it in her own silly way. In fact, she is a funny girl all around and a bit of a clown who will have you laughing Steve Martin style!

 

Her silliness continues when playing, and she loves to run, jump, and pounce. She is neutral with other dogs and would enjoy having a male of similar size to play with. Wendi is a social butterfly at social events, doesn’t beg, has perfect house manners, and an impeccable off-switch.

 

Wendi is potty trained, crate trained, well-mannered at the vets’ office, is non-destructive, and a joy to be around. She has mastered all of her basic commands and working to become proficient in more advanced skills. Wendi is motivated mostly by affection and no matter what, you will fall in love with her! Simple verbal corrections are all she needs.

 

If you are looking for a social, smart, easily trainable girl, look no further. Wendi responds quickly to instructions, understands and respects boundaries, and is the sweetest Malinois her foster has ever met. Wendi would do well in most home situations and would love nothing more than to be part of a family who will give her the same amount of love back that she gives them.

West Coast adoptions only, HOWEVER, if application is strong we may consider placement in other Western US states.

Must have previous or current, purebred Belgian Malinois experience OR other high drive working breed experience. Have no children under the age of 12 years old OR have extensive experience with children and high drive dogs.

 

Our adoption process includes- completion of an application, followed by a telephone interview.

 

Adoption Donation: $500.00

Transport along Interstate 5 (Bakersfield, CA to Bellingham, WA) is available but cost not included in adoption fee.
