Meet Bailey – Fetch Fanatic, Tail-Chaser, and Aspiring Olympian

Born 9/9/24, weighing in at a fit 52 lbs, Bailey is the kind of dog who thinks life is one big action movie…and she’s the star. She’s got a high energy level, high drive, and a personality that’s part athlete, part comedian.

Bailey’s favorite hobbies include:

• Playing fetch until your arm falls off (don’t worry, she’ll bring the ball back to your other arm).

• Chasing her tail and getting mad when it “wins.”

• Hunting anything that moves - she’s a sweet girl, but goats, chickens, and bunnies should keep their distance.

She’s amazing with people, great with kids, and loves other dogs, though she prefers her friends don’t try to compete with her for “Fastest in the Yard” status. She’s friendly with strangers, an angel at the vet, and a little jumpy at loud noises, but recovers fast.

Bailey knows her commands like Place, Heel, Sit, Down, Recall and is crate trained (though she’ll sing you the song of her people now and then). She’s also an escape artist with Olympic-level fence-jumping skills, so her future home will need to be secure.

Her dream family? Active humans who love the outdoors, have no cats or livestock, and enjoy giving belly rubs between rounds of fetch. Extra points if you’re into dog sports like barn hunt, Fast CAT, or disc dog then Bailey’s got the drive and enthusiasm to be a star.

If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, endlessly entertaining best friend who will keep you laughing and moving, Bailey’s ready to leap into your life - literally.

Our adoption process includes the completion of an application, followed by a phone interview.

Adoption Donation: $500.00

Transport along Interstate 5 (Rowland Heights, CA to Edmonds, WA) is available but cost not included in adoption fee.

For all inquiries, please fill out our adoption application first, as the volunteer answering emails is probably not the coordinator for the specific foster home/dog.
