Triscuit is a sweet and cuddly GSD mix puppy who just wants to be your best friend!  Her ears are trying to stand up, so they are in the “odd puppy stage” flop at this point.  She is loyal and eager to please, anything she can do to be around her human is what she will do as she loves being around her human!

If Triscuit was a human she would be a hostess, as she loves meeting new people but has her own little job that she needs to tend to as well!  When she is awake, she is a go-getter that always is on the move looking for things to do and places to explore.  During her time in foster, it is noted that she is always the first to try new things among her littermates and is probably the most affectionate and cuddly of the group as well.  Her littermates and momma have come a long way from being dumped in a field to fend for themselves!

Triscuit loves car rides!  She does not get car sick and thinks that car rides are the coolest thing ever.  At the vet’s office everything was a bit big, and scary but she handled it like a champ.  Playing with her humans and her littermates is too much fun at this point in life where every day something new happens.  Sometimes she can be quite the talker letting you know what she wants, mostly it is to play!  Everything is new to her so she is a blank slate so to say, experiences will form her into whatever kind of dog you want her to be as an adult.

During Triscuits’ time in foster she has begun learning crate training, potty training, and wearing a collar.  She is doing great with those and will soon be walking on a leash as she is a quick learner!  While she does need some redirection from time to time since her puppy brain thinks that everything should be chewed on, it is easy to redirect her with a toy.  Additionally, she has been introduced to the marker word “yes” before food and toy rewards during training and she has started clicker training as well.

Triscuit is looking for her forever home that is looking to add an active puppy into the mix.  We think that she could do well in some dog sports as she has a little bit of drive.  Since she loves splashing in the kiddie pool and playing with tug toys there is a possibility of having a future all-star dock diver in that small puppy body!  She will also make a great hiking, running, adventuring, and camping friend as well.
