ABOUT SANNA

~DOB: 5/1/2020

Gender: Female

Weight: 65 lbs

Energy Level: Moderate

Overall Drive: Moderate

Location: Yelm, WA

This dog is a mover and a shaker. She is confident, forward, and is ready to go when you are! Sanna wants to get things done and would be an amazing partner for someone who is as athletic and outdoorsy as she is.

Sanna warms up quickly and is super friendly to everyone she meets. She loves to be out running and exploring with her dog friends but will stay close, knows her name and has excellent recall. In her foster home she also enjoys helping with farm chores by running loose with the other dogs next to the side by side or just chilling on the side watching you work! She currently resides with dogs from 15 – 70 pounds and with proper introductions has done well with all. She does have high prey drive and is heavily managed around the barn cats, but a home without cats will be best. She is respectful with the fosters horses, but other livestock is unknown.

She is potty trained, crate trained, rides well crated in the car, and is well-mannered at the vet’s office. She prefers to be with her person or dog friends and has been known to climb a kennel fence so a secure kennel with a top is required if she needs to stay contained for tending to certain chores. Sanna needs a dedicated handler to ensure she has the structure and training needed for continued success. She is motivated most by food and praise and requires moderate correction to redirect unwanted behaviors. She is fine around kids of all ages, incredibly easy to train, and a joy to be around.

Her ideal home is with a moderately active family – someone who wats to include her in adventures and continue her training. Sanna is all the great things in one pup – a bit intense when needed, good sense of humor, and a good sense of FUN! Her foster says she is an easy dog with no real bad habits and although a bit busy in the house she doesn’t get in the trash, stays on a place command, and is a wonderful, sweet companion. Sanna truly wants a family to call her own – is that you?
