Lima is a puppy, not much more to it than that.  She is a 22-pound, 4-legged adventure machine!  So, if you are looking for a puppy that is happy to go on adventures, play around the house, and sleep on your lap/feet, this might be the girl for you!

If Lima was a human, she would not have a job due to child labor restrictions because you know it is illegal and all that.  #SheIsJustABaby  But her foster said that once she is older she might have the potential to be a service dog with her calm demeanor, or if she was human possibly a detective as she is always checking on things in this big world that surrounds her.  She is very curious about the world and loves bouncing around following her humans wherever they are going.  Additionally, she has an amateur fighting record of 16-0 against leaves who have tried to attack her foster parent, so she gets a gold star for that too!

During car rides, Lima does great in the crate and does not get car sick.  She has been to the vet’s office and did outstanding as she does everywhere else.  If there are loud noises around her, she is curious more than anything.  #MustGoInvestigate  She loves to go on adventures outside and she is doing very well getting used to being out and about in public.  Some of the things that she has been introduced to in her outings have been people, horses, and goats.

During Lima’s time in foster, she has learned all sorts of obedience commands as she is a quick learner and loves to train for food.  Some of the things she has learned and is continually working on are Sit, Lay, Kennel, Potty, Heel, Place, and working on getting better leash manners.  She has not been destructive, which is strange for a puppy but who knows if there is a little destructive monster in that little body somewhere hidden for a future time!  As for house training, she has learned to use a bell attached to the back door when she needs to go potty and sleeps in the crate overnight as well.  Everything is new to her so laying down a solid foundation early will set her up for success in the future.

Lima is hoping for a forever home that will keep up with her training, take her on all the human adventures, and possibly have another dog to play with as well.  So, if you are looking for a little bundle of joy to add to your home, look no further than Lima!

Adoption Donation: $500.00

Transport along Interstate 5 (Rowland Heights, CA to Edmonds, WA) is available but cost not included in adoption fee.

For all inquiries, please fill out our adoption application first, as the volunteer answering emails is probably not the coordinator for the specific foster home/dog.
