Woof Project Rescue Sport Duffel Bag

Quinn is an approximately 2 year old Belgian Malinois. Woof Project pulled her and her brother from Kern County Animal Services in Bakersfield, CA on 8/28/21. A few days after arriving to her wonderful foster home in Lake Stevens, WA, Quinn began to show symptoms of Kennel Cough. This is very common and usually resolves on it's own once their immune system catches up, however Quinn's did not. Her foster mom became increasingly worried and Woof's Medical Coordinator advised an Emergency Vet visit. Quinn was hospitalized on Tuesday 9/14  with bacterial pneumonia - lethargy, loss of appetite, fever, diarrhea, milky green discharge from her nose and eyes. She was given IV fluids, meds, supportive oxygen, 24-36 hours of care. Quinn continued to improve and was released Wednesday 9/15 when her fever subsided, her appetite was back to normal, and was visibly more bright/bouncier. They also treated her for giardia. Our final bill was $2,539.99.

This has pretty much depleted our "buffer" for emergency vet bills and we desperately need to restore it. As we have 52+ dogs in foster, and an obstruction or other medical emergency can happen at any time.
