Xin is the kind of dog who turns everyday moments into something special just by being close to you. His idea of the perfect job? A full-time heated blanket that is pressed right up against his person, soaking in every bit of love and returning it tenfold. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who wants to be your shadow, Xin is your guy.

Deeply devoted to his chosen human, Xin forms strong bonds and thrives on connection. He’s a goofy, lovable boy who will keep you smiling with his zoomies and playful antics, then happily settle in for long cuddle sessions. He enjoys the company of other dogs and would likely do well with a compatible canine friend to romp around with.

Xin can be cautious with new people and is still learning that he doesn’t need to “protect” his person. With consistent guidance and a confident, patient handler, this is very manageable and incredibly rewarding to work through. He’s food motivated, knows basic commands like sit and come, and is continuing to build his skills.

​

In the home, Xin is house trained and generally well-mannered, though he may test counters or trash cans if given the opportunity. He rides well in the car, isn’t bothered by loud noises, and enjoys being part of your daily routine.

​

Xin would do best in a home that’s committed to continuing his training and offering structure, love, and inclusion. In return, you’ll get a devoted best friend who just wants to be by your side through it all.

Our adoption process includes- completion of an application, followed by a telephone interview.
