Meet Mace: your personal hype man, helper, and best friend in the making!

Mace is a happy, social young guy with a moderate energy level and a big heart that’s ready to bond. If dogs had job titles, Mace would absolutely be a Walmart greeter with tail wagging, full-body wiggles, he is ready to make everyone feel like a VIP.

​

Mace is the kind of dog who just wants to be with you. Yard work? He’s supervising. Laundry day? He’s collecting dropped socks. Loading the dishwasher? He’s pre-rinsing (enthusiastically!). When the chores are done, he’s happiest lounging upside down with his head in your lap or starting a game of goofy keep-away he’s still working on the “bring it back” part!

He’s incredibly friendly and thrives on praise. Tell him “GOOD BOYYYYYY” and you’ll see his whole world light up. He’s smart, eager to learn, and already knows basic commands like sit, down, and kennel (“IN!”). With his food motivation and desire to please, he’s a dream trainee and would excel in activities like hiking, obedience, or even nose work.

Mace lives with multiple dogs (and a cat!) and has done wonderfully. He loves canine friends and would do great with another social dog. He can live with a cat, but may need guidance, because let’s be honest, fast-moving cats are very exciting. He also enjoys meeting new people, including vet staff, where he’s famous for rolling over mid-exam for belly rubs.

Like any young pup, Mace is still learning the ropes and eagerly working on house manners, leash walking, and managing excitement (jumping/mouthing), but he’s highly responsive to gentle correction and structure.

​

 Ideal home? Moderately active, loving, and ready to continue guiding this bright, affectionate boy. In return, you’ll get a loyal sidekick who brings laughter, companionship, and a whole lot of personality.

Our adoption process includes- completion of an application, followed by a telephone interview. 

​

Transport is available but the cost is not included in the adoption fee.
