Meet Loren, the 75-pound love bug who thinks he’s a lapdog! Abandoned as a puppy, this handsome boy has perfected the art of gazing into your soul with his big, adoring eyes. If you’re watching TV, don’t be surprised when Loren casually plops himself into your lap like a 10-pound Chihuahua, he believes “if I fits, I sits.”
Loren is a chill dude with low-to-moderate energy. He’s crate trained, house trained, and a polite passenger when loading up for car rides (he actually prefers his crate for road trips and calls it his “VIP lounge”). He’s cautious at first, but once he warms up, you’ll have a sweet, curious, and loyal shadow who just wants to be with his person.
He’s not much of a barker, unless it’s “stranger danger” or tiny dogs sprinting by his crate then he just wants in on the action. Loren enjoys short walks (longer when it’s cooler), lounging outside in comfy spots, and soaking up pets and praise. His goofy antics—like play-bowing when you ask him to “sit”—will keep you laughing.
Ideal home? A calm-to-moderate household where Loren can snooze, snuggle, and occasionally supervise the fridge. He’d do well with respectful kids and medium-to-large dogs. Cats and toy-sized pups might look too much like chew toys to him.
Bottom line: Loren is a loyal, affectionate cuddle bunny who’s ready to be your oversized best friend and permanent Netflix buddy.
