ABOUT KIKO
DOB: 09/2021
Weight: 45lbs
Energy level: Moderate
Overall drive: Moderate
Location: Vancouver, WA
Kiko is a sweet confident girl looking for her forever person! When allowed to approach strangers, she warms up quickly and leans in for a scratch. She is quite attentive and energetic. She has been exposed to toddlers and did fine.
Kiko has also been exposed to cats, goats, poultry, pigs, etc. She does have some prey drive, so should not be placed in a home with cats or other small animals or livestock unless extensive training and supervision is given. Kiko is crate-trained, rides will in the car loose or in a crate, and is very well-mannered at the vets’ office. Sudden loud noises will cause a slight startle (bark), but she recovers quickly. She is not a fan of fireworks or gunshots.
Kiko is still working on basic commands, is motivated by treats and praise, stern verbal correction is sufficient.
Kiko's ideal home will be moderately active and be able to set her up for continued success with clear boundaries and structure. Don't let the odd number of legs scare you away, she does extremely well! She would probably thrive in barn hunt, nosework, or a walking partner. This beautiful girl is just waiting to live the best life she can have with you.
