Meet Joey: The Gorgeous Goofball with Olympic Dreams

DOB: 11/20/2020

Weight: 85 lbs

Energy Level: High

Overall Drive: Moderate, HIGH PREY

Location: Olympia, WA

If Ryan Reynolds were a dog, he’d be Joey - ridiculously handsome, charmingly witty (with a side of sass), and always ready to steal the spotlight…and your snacks. At 85 pounds of bouncy enthusiasm, Joey is the total package: brains, beauty, and a tail-chasing sense of humor.

 Joey’s hobbies include:

  • Fetching in water like an elite athlete

  • Arguing (politely) when he’s told to do something he’d rather not

  • Morning breath kisses at sunrise

  • Showing off his command skills — sit, stay, down, shake, get the ball…he’s got a résumé!

This guy is as affectionate as they come — a certified giant lap dog and full-time shadow. He’ll follow you everywhere, gently nudge your arm for love mid-Zoom call, and flop dramatically on the couch after a long day of being extremely good-looking.

Joey’s idea of a perfect day? A hike or swim with his people, some ball time, then snoozing at your feet (or in your bed if you blink too long). He’s crate trained, house trained, doesn’t touch trash, and will literally let himself out if he needs to go potty. Talk about independent!

No cats, chickens, or shady delivery guys need apply — Joey’s not having it. But dogs of all sizes? He’s cool. Small dogs even boss him around. Respect.

He’s looking for a family that loves outdoor adventures as much as couch snuggles. Bonus points if you appreciate sarcastic grunts, love language in the form of tail spins, and waking up to a snout in your face.

Joey’s ready to bring joy, laughs, and loyalty. And maybe his own Instagram account.
