Do you love velcro? What about dogs, do love them too? Would you like to hear more about Hudson the velcro dog? Continue the story below!
Hudson loves his people more than anything in the world. He wants to be around them all waking hours of the day and would want to sleep with them too if they would let him. He is quite the youngster, very well behaved but can stir up some mischief if needed. If Hudson was a human he would be one with a couple of jobs as he does a lot of things around the house. His job interests would be a clown, superhero, and best friend. Those career fields come with immense amounts of pressure and a very high benchmark for grades, we would be him an A++++ for all of his hard work. Hudson is very sweet and affectionate, he loves everyone human he has ever met regardless of size or age. Because of his size, he can appear to be a big scary dog to little kids and other dogs alike, but he just wants to give slobbery kisses and to be your best friend.
Hudson is crate trained and loves his “room”, he will go into his crate to just hang out during parts of the day and to sleep at night. He is decent with cats as long as they don’t challenge him or run off. Currently, he is being fostered with a Goldendoodle, Rottweiler, and a German Shepherd and gets along with all of them just fine. We are not sure if he would like to be in a multidog home or just to be an only dog but either way, he would be happy. To burn off some energy he does love a good game of fetch #comethrowtheballformedad. During his time in foster, he has mastered the following skills Sit, Come, No, Off, Leave it, Drop it, Go to your room, and Wee walkie aka potty walk. He can be somewhat stubborn sometimes so while yes he has mastered these commands the execution might not happen at breakneck speeds #Illdoitonmytime. All other “normal” commands are still a work in progress.
Hudson does have a quality nose on him so some sort of “find it” game would be very up his alley, or enrollment in a scent work course once he has come to terms with the obedience required. As for vices he has been known to “accidentally” counter surf, due to his height #butyouwereeatingtoo. This was easily stopped with a “leave it” command. One must remember he is still a younger dog so teething and chewing are big in his life, so supervision is paramount at this time. If he is left to his own devices he might just find something he thought needed to be chewed, this has not happened yet due to the oversight of his foster. Overall he is an amazing dog that will blossom in his forever home!
If you are interested in a velcro part clown/superhero/best friend dog that has some extra dewclaws #4x4modeactivated. Then take a serious look at Hudson, he would love nothing more to be that goofy best friend you have been searching for!
