Hudson – Gentle Giant with a Heart of Gold

 

Hudson is the definition of a gentle giant. With his soulful, heart-melting eyes and affectionate nature, this big boy wins people over everywhere he goes. Whether it’s a trip to Home Depot, the local bus station, or a stroll through the neighborhood, Hudson is a perfect gentleman: calm, non-reactive, and happiest by your side.

He’s non-confrontational with other dogs (he’ll walk away from drama), uninterested in cats, and has done well around kids though; older children are best due to his size and strength. He doesn’t realize how big he is and will absolutely try to sit in your lap or squeeze into tiny spaces.

​

Hudson loves car rides (shotgun is his favorite seat), tug-of-war, and playing ball, but his number one favorite thing is simply being with his people. He’s house trained, crate trained, food-motivated, and knows sit, stay, back up, and stop. He’s still polishing his leash skills and learning that socks and trash aren’t treasures.

​

He prefers a calm home and would thrive with companionship; man or canine. Long workdays alone aren’t his style; he just wants belly rubs, road trips, and someone to love.

​

Hudson would make an incredible ESA companion thanks to his gentle, soothing presence.

Our adoption process includes- completion of an application, followed by a telephone interview.

Transport along Interstate 5 (Rowland Heights, CA to Tacoma, WA) is available but cost not included in adoption fee.
