ABOUT BOSTON

Age: 3 years

Weight: 50lbs

Gender: Male

Energy Level: High

Overall Drive: High

Location: Buckley, WA

Boston is the most engaged and fun dog you will ever meet! He always tries his best for whatever you’re asking of him and is so much fun to train. He is always there to protect his person and is always focused on whatever task is at hand. If he were a human, Boston would be a professional athlete: he has incredible work ethic, drive, athleticism, and he loves exercise!

With plenty of structure, Boston excels in whatever is asked of him. When outside of his home, he mostly stays focused on his handler but always has an eye on his surroundings. He does well meeting new people in his home and is working on not jumping up when excited. Boston has been neutral with other dogs when meeting them through a fence but requires slow, controlled introductions when interacting with them directly. Due to his high prey drive, he will need a home without cats, small dogs, children, or small animals. Boston rides well in the car, does well when muzzled at the veterinarian’s office, and isn’t bothered by loud noises. He has mastered basic obedience and is currently working on decreasing his mouthiness when excited. Boston is fully crate trained.

An active household would be ideal for Boston. Once he is familiar with his new routine and the expectations of his new handler, he will do everything to the best of his ability and is always eager to please. Boston loves running, hiking, walking, and playing – so a home with plenty of opportunity for exercise is a must! Due to his affinity for training, he would excel in almost any activity his family might be interested in. Boston can’t wait to be your perfect match and keep you company on whatever adventures might come your way!
