Sultan, WA | 11 lbs | ~DOB: 8/1/2024 | Moderate Energy | Moderate Drive
Beatle is a shy, easygoing little guy who can also surprise you with his goofy side. He’s reserved at first, but once he feels comfy, he’ll toss in a toy wiggle or a tail wag that will melt your heart. Think of him as the quiet coworker who doesn’t say much… until he cracks the funniest one-liner of the week. #SilentButWiggly
If Beatle were a human, his foster thinks he’d be the plant department water boy at Walmart—just happily watering things all day long. Honestly, he’d probably overwater, but he’d look cute doing it. Beatle is still learning to come out of his shell, hasn’t been barky with people, though he will speak up when he sees a big dog (because big dogs = big opinions). With little dogs, he’s much more chill, especially with his buddy Diggie, whose kisses he tolerates like a champ. #DualAdoptionOption
He rides like a pro in his crate, handled his vet exam like a shy gentleman, and hasn’t been fazed by loud noises so far. His crate manners are excellent, and he even puts himself to bed after potty breaks. (Polite king!) He’s not destructive, aside from one mild cotton-bed incident—because hey, fuzz is tempting.
Training-wise, Beatle is still finding his motivation. He eats treats here and there, isn’t huge on toys, and needs help with leash skills (he had a neck injury, so patience will be key). For corrections, a simple squirt bottle has worked so far. He will mark in the house so may need a belly band indoors, even post-neuter. But look—no counter surfing here, his tiny legs say “not happening.” #FunSized
Beatle’s dream home? A calm, respectful household with a fenced yard that’s not too big (so he can’t disappear on solo adventures). Someone patient who gives him space to settle in will see him blossom into a sweet, funny, wiggly companion. Another small, easygoing dog would be a bonus.
Beatle isn’t really a “sports dog” type—formal activities aren’t his jam. But if you’re looking for a loyal, quirky, shy-but-sweet buddy who loves simple pleasures, Beatle is your boy.
