Zoshi is a big personality wrapped up in one very happy, energetic package! This handsome guy LOVES to play fetch, and if you’re willing to keep throwing the ball, he’s more than happy to keep bringing it back. Add food to the equation and you’ve officially become his best friend. Cheese-filled Kongs? Absolutely. Toys? All of them. A good adventure? Sign him up!
Don’t let his crate manners fool you; Zoshi comes out as quietly as a mouse, but once that leash clicks on, WOW! He is ready to GO. He’s strong, exuberant, athletic, and still learning how to channel all that enthusiasm into good choices. He knows sit and down, and is working hard on heel, stay, come, and off.
Zoshi is smart and responds well to consistent boundaries. He needs a confident, experienced handler who will provide structure, clear expectations, and daily mental and physical exercise. Long walks, hiking, fetch, agility, and other activities would be right up his alley. He has an off switch, but he definitely isn’t looking for a life spent on the couch.
He can be cautious with visitors and will bark when someone arrives, but he’s easily won over. Because of his strength and tendency to jump when excited, a home without small children is recommended. He has done well with female dogs and would likely enjoy having a compatible canine companion, preferably one who is more easygoing. He has not been tested with cats.
Zoshi is crate trained, hops right into the car, and loud noises don’t seem to bother him, either. What he really needs is someone who sees the wonderful dog underneath the exuberance and is ready to help him become the best version of himself.
If you’re looking for a fun, athletic, food-motivated, toy-loving partner with personality to spare, Zoshi may be your guy!
