Meet Uncle Waldo: 65 Pounds of Short, Stocky, Snuffly Excellence
Uncle Waldo is proof that good things come in short, stout packages. He may be built like he skipped leg day and overdid it at the buffet, but this handsome guy has a BIG heart and an even bigger opinion about how he’d like his life to go.
Waldo is a quiet-living, structure-loving guy who wants his person to be firmly in charge. He’s happiest when life is predictable, peaceful, and free of unnecessary drama. Think warehouse employee, not CEO. Give him a routine, some snacks, a comfy crate, and a human he trusts, and Waldo is one happy dude.
Once you’re HIS person, prepare yourself for an absolutely ridiculous level of affection. He loves being petted and will literally wrap himself around your hands and legs while making the funniest little snuffling noises. Then, occasionally, this low-energy gentleman gets the zoomies; which are even funnier because Waldo is spectacularly uncoordinated. There may be a wipeout. There will definitely be laughs.
He is extremely food motivated, loves his chew toys, and is surprisingly trainable when treats are involved. He’s crate trained, quiet, house manners are good when supervised, and he LOVES riding in the car.
Waldo is also a sensitive and nervous guy who needs an experienced handler, structure, patience, and time to build trust. He is not a dog for children or a busy social household, and his adopter will need to understand his triggers and respect his boundaries. A quiet, preferably out-of-town home with someone confident and experienced would be ideal.
Waldo doesn’t need a marathon. He’d like a leisurely stroll, a few laps around the yard, some snacks, a chew bone, and then he’d like to clock out for the day. Uncle Waldo is ready to find his person and he promises to bring the snuffles, snacks, and occasional flying potato routine with him.
Our adoption process includes- completion of an application, followed by a telephone interview.

Transport is available but the cost is not included in the adoption fee.
