Meet Raya – Loyal, Driven, and Ready to Protect Her People

​

Raya is a devoted, intelligent girl looking for a home that appreciates loyalty and purpose. If she were human, she’d be a hardworking farmer protecting her animals, keeping order, and taking her job seriously.

​

At home, Raya is affectionate, slightly shy at first, and naturally protective. Once she bonds with you, she is incredibly loving and happiest hanging out with her family or chasing her beloved ball. She is fully house-trained, non-destructive when left alone, and has solid obedience skills such a sit, stay, lay down, and “stop/enough.” She’s reliable off-leash and follows commands about 90% of the time.

Raya does well at the vet and tolerates car rides (even if they’re not her favorite). Loud noises like thunderstorms or heavy rain can make her uneasy. She can overreact to house guests and is protective on her property, though she is non-aggressive when out on walks or at the park.

​

Raya would thrive as a farm dog or with an active family that has older kids and plenty of space to run. She needs structure, leadership, and room to channel her energy in healthy ways.

Our adoption process includes- completion of an application, followed by a telephone interview.

Transport is available but the cost is not included in the adoption fee.
