Some dogs are everyone’s dog. Qazi isn’t.
Qazi is waiting for his person.
This incredibly handsome boy has a gentle soul that has endured more than any dog should. The world hasn’t always been kind to him, and you can see it in his cautious eyes, but you can also see hope. Despite everything, he chooses to trust. If you show him patience and kindness, he’ll follow you anywhere.
Once you’ve earned his heart, there’s no turning back. Qazi is the definition of loyal. He’s happiest pressed against you on the couch, convinced that a 75-pound lap dog is perfectly reasonable. Ask him to sit, and there’s a good chance he’ll dramatically flop over for belly rubs instead. If professional hugging were a career, he’d be employee of the year.
Qazi loves exploring the world with his favorite person. Trail walks, bike rides, road trips, and discovering new places are where he truly comes alive. Watching him experience life with wonder is something you’ll never forget.
He’s house-trained, rides beautifully in the car, knows “sit” and “down,” and is eager to learn because praise and treats are his love language. Like many dogs with difficult pasts, he still has things he’s working on. He’ll need continued guidance with household manners, chewing, crate confidence, and unexpected handling around his collar due to past trauma. Because of this, he needs an experienced adopter who understands that healing isn’t always a straight line.
Qazi would thrive in a calm home with someone who believes in leading with patience, consistency, and compassion. Older children are best, no cats, and another confident, playful dog could be a wonderful match. This isn’t a dog looking for perfection. He’s looking for someone who will never let him down again.

Transport is is available but the cost is not included in the adoption fee.
