Meet Meru – The Gold Medal Cuddle Athlete
If Meru were human, she’d be an Olympic gymnast. The girl’s got moves such as launching through the air after a tennis ball like she’s auditioning for a slow-motion sports montage. Fetch? She wins. Always.
At 85 lbs, Meru is basically a fluffy emotional support tank - equal parts snuggle buddy and jogging partner. She can run 7 miles at 4 a.m., yet also believes the best endurance sport is spooning you all night. If you’re sad, she’ll kiss away your tears. If you’re happy, she’ll kiss you anyway.
Meru is the life of the party with kids, strangers, and other dogs and her neighbor’s little boy even knocks on the door to ask if she can come out to play. She’s polite around big animals (though wild turkeys and cats are fair game in her book). She’s also your built-in security system, delivering an impressive bark to keep sketchy night joggers at bay.
Her absolute #1 love in life? Food. Meals, treats, butcher bones - if it’s edible, Meru is interested. This makes training a breeze but also means she’s your biggest cheerleader in the kitchen.
She’s house-trained, crate-trained (though crates aren’t her fave), and thrives on gentle guidance. When exercised, she’s calm indoors and perfectly content to snooze at your side.
Meru’s dream home? An active, affectionate family who loves the outdoors as much as she does, with kids over 5 and plenty of time for adventures, fetch tournaments, and cuddle marathons.
Basically, she’s an Olympic-level athlete in the body of your future best friend. And she’s ready to win gold… in your heart.
