Lina is a sweet young girl who is super friendly, a dream to train, and loves to move/play ball with her person.   She has quite the hunt drive using her super sniffer and very strong nerves for being around situations that would not be super comfortable for most dogs.

If Lina were a human, she would be great in a people-pleasing type of human job or a department leader at a big brand, since she can be a little bossy around other dogs from time to time.  She is friendly and confident, which is great for public outings and being around livestock on her foster’s property.  Additionally, she loves the pool and might just make a great dock diving dog in the future if that is something that you would want to get into with her in her forever home!

Lina enjoys riding in the car; she will crate right up and snooze away on the journey to your destination.  She is environmentally stable and solid as a rock around loud noises as well!  #DontFazeHer  Her favorite thing in the world up to this point is her ball, #BallIsLife, and anything that moves (must be those herder genetics).

For training, food and praise are her go-to rewards during training time.  She has not really exhibited any naughty habits during her time with her foster. Lina has mastered the Heel, Sit, Down, and Come commands and working diligently to learn more! #WorkInProgress

Lina is on the lookout for her forever home with someone who will be willing to continue her training and possibly participate in some dog sports with her. With her love of using her nose, handler focus, and athleticism, she may excel in nose work, agility, dock diving, and possibly some herding as well.  She has not been tested around children, but older, respectful kids might be good with her.  Around livestock, she is solid (horses, cows, sheep, goats), so she could make a great ranch dog as well. If you are looking to add Lina to your household, please apply!
