Goldfish is the sweetest, most snuggly, ball of fluffy young shepherd that you will ever meet.  As a typical puppy, everything is super fun, and new, and revolves around playing.  She does settle rather quickly post-playtime and learns very quickly.

Goldfish’s foster thinks that she would make the world's best personal assistant as she loves being with her person!  Fun fact she has already been taught to bring her leash to her person and is working on bringing other objects as well!  This young lady is always happy to snuggle up, so if you live in a place where it gets cold in the winter Goldfish might be your near “green energy” electric blanket.  Currently, she is living with another male dog and loves playing with him and wrestling to her little heart is content.  In new situations, she can be reserved, but this is due to her age and will get better with more socialization as she gets older.

During her visit with the vet, she was a bit unsure, but did very well overall.   Loud noises do not push her over the edge but rather make her weary of what might be making the noise, and she becomes very watchful of the things around her #ThingsThatGoBumpInTheNight.  Her foster also states that Goldfish is an excellent zoomer (not the strange generation of kids these days) but a professional when having the zoomies around the yard. She also enjoys eating the strawberries and raspberries out of her foster garden, so much she will take them right off the plant #JustTryingToBeHealthy.

During Goldfish’s time in foster she has mastered Sit, Come (when called), and respecting door boundaries.  Items she is still working on are Down, leash manners, and Shake.  Given that she is a puppy there are certain things that also need work on such as chewing only approved chewing items, digging only in approved digging locations #Call611, jumping, and being mouthy as well.

Goldfish is looking for her forever home that could be moderately active, have another dog, and someone to love on via snuggles.  Since she is a puppy, continued training to help set her up for success as an adult is key for her forever home as well.  As she is a quick learner, we think that she might be able to do Dock Diving, and possibly Agility once she is older since she has the ability to focus very well.  So, if you are looking for a moderately chill puppy to add to your home, don’t wait long cause this girl will not be in foster forever!
