ABOUT GIGI

Age: 18 months

Gender: Female

Weight: 55lbs

Energy Level: Moderate

Overall Drive: Moderate

Location: Olympia, WA

Gigi is affectionate, eager to please, and would love nothing more than to be your personal assistant and very best friend. This girl is ready to help you through a bad day (or even a bad break up), is always ready for snuggles, belly rubs or a quick game of fetch!

Gigi loves everyone - people and dogs alike! Sometimes a little too much, so young kids could get knocked over by her fierce love. Cats, however, are not her favorite friends and she will play chase with them if she sees one so a home without them is required.

Gigi rides well crated in the car, is a bit unsure at the vets’ office (but loves the attention) and is working hard to master her basic skills. She does have some fear surrounding a leash, so patience and encouragement are needed to help her build her confidence. She is motivated most by treats and praise, and a firm no is all she needs for correction.

Gigi would do best in an active home where her people can give her lots of attention and full body rub downs. Having other dogs to play with would be ideal, but dog friends out of the home would be fine too. If you have been looking for the ultimate love bug, your wait is over!

West Coast adoptions only, HOWEVER, if application is strong we may consider placement in other Western US states.

Must have previous or current, purebred Belgian Malinois experience OR other high drive working breed experience. Have no children under the age of 12 years old OR have extensive experience with children and high drive dogs.

Adoption Donation: $500.00

For all inquiries, please fill out our adoption application first, as the volunteer answering emails is probably not the coordinator for the specific foster home/dog.
