Finn

~DOB: 9/1/2023

Weight: 60 lbs

Energy Level: Moderate

Overall Drive: Low

Location: Terrell, TX

Meet Finn, the sweet, soulful boy with the heart of a gentle people-lover and the legs of a gazelle.

At around 2 years old and 60 lbs, he’s the perfect medium-large companion with moderate energy and a low drive, making him an easygoing addition to the right home.

Finn is incredibly affectionate, smart, and eager to please, if you ask him to do something once, he’ll do it quickly and with enthusiasm. His foster says if he were human, he’d work in Human Relations, because he truly wants to connect. That said, he can be fearful at first and needs a little time to warm up to new people and situations. Once he does, you’ve got a loyal, loving friend for life.

He’s great with other dogs (they’re his favorite thing!), does well in the car, and is fully crate trained. Loud noises and “things in the sky” (yes, even ceiling fans ) can be spooky, so a calm home with a confident dog buddy would help him thrive.

He’s food-motivated, sensitive to correction (verbal cues are plenty), and already knows sit, go to crate, recall (low distraction), and place/down on a bed. He’s working on loose-leash walking and even learning frisbee!

Looking for a gentle, loving dog who just needs patience and reassurance? This boy is ready to blossom in a calm home with another dog and a big heart.

Our adoption process includes- completion of an application, followed by a telephone interview.

Adoption Donation: $500.00

Transport along Interstate 5 (Rowland Heights, CA to Edmonds, WA) is available but cost not included in adoption fee.

For all inquiries, please fill out our adoption application first, as the volunteer answering emails is probably not the coordinator for the specific foster home/dog.
