Zorra is a loveable and loyal girl who wants to be with her person all the time. It could be a hike, run, rainy day cuddles, or spying on you in the shower, whatever it is that you are doing in life Zorra wants to be a part of it!
If Zorra was a human, she would make a great game warden as she loves going to the local forests and searching for wildlife. Prior to coming into Woof Project, a DNA test was completed on Zorra, and it turns out she is 100% Good Girl, aka the perfect mix of Malinois and GSD. With her calm cuddly side, she is always ready to curl up next to you for some quality snuggle time on the couch. She does have some protective instincts when strangers approach the property she will alert bark, but it is all just noise and looks since she has a gentle demeanor despite looking like a legit guard dog.
This girl loves riding in the car, she loads up great and would make a perfect copilot for your next road trip. During her visit to the vet’s office, she was a rock star, and the staff loved her. Around loud noises she can be a bit nervous so will look to her handler for comfort and reassurance. One of her favorite things in life is her stuffed toy, she packs it around and shakes it all over the house. #ItIsHerTreasureDontTakeHerShine A close second to her stuffie would be playing in the yard with her foster dog friends.
During Zorra’s time in foster, she has mastered the Sit, Down, Come, and Back commands. Additionally, she is crate trained (puts herself in it to nap during the day) and has decent leash manners as well. She is still working on the Stay command, a hard one to get good at when you just want to be next to your person. #HumanWhyMustIStayWayOverHere While in foster she has not shown to be destructive other than napkins, she has an affinity for shredding them with great joy. Zorra is housebroken and does not counter-surf if she is being watched but if given the opportunity she might take a swipe at your sandwich if you leave it out. This lady loves food and positive reinforcement during training time, and only takes menial correction on her handler's end to curb unwanted behavior.
Zorra is looking for a breed-experienced forever home that would keep up with her training and keep her active. She could be a sibling to another confident, friendly, and playful dog in her forever home as well. So if you are looking for an adventure buddy, Zorra is your girl!
