Tetley is a young and vibrant pup who wants to learn. She is smart and agile, loves to solve puzzles and use her nose, and snuggling and eating are some of her favorite activities! She may take a bit of time to come out of her shell or decide you are worthy of her attention in typical Malinois form, but when she does, you will have an absolute blast with her!
Food is the way to Tetley’s heart and will unlock her fun and goofy personality. She may bark at first when meeting new people, but she makes quick friends with people of all ages. She is still figuring out her place in groups of dogs as she tries to be top dog, but respects boundaries of the older dogs when corrected. She has done well with the cats and horse in her fosters home.
Tetley is potty trained, crate trained, rides well in the car, and is well-mannered at the vets’ office. Loud noises do not phase her. She is working diligently to become proficient in her basic skills, and to stay off the counters. Food is her biggest motivator, and she only requires minimal correction to redirect unwanted behaviors.
Tetley is looking for an active home where she will have clear boundaries and structure, and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. Her new family should be prepared to continue her training and proper socialization to help her build confidence for long-term success. With her intelligence, desire to please, and love of food and using her nose, she could excel in many sports. This special little lady is a rock star in the making and is just waiting for someone to offer her the signing deal she’s been waiting for!
