ABOUT SABRA

Age: 1 year
Gender: Female
Weight: 55lbs
Energy level: Moderate
Overall drive: Low
Location: Lake Stevens, WA

Sabra is the sweetest, most affectionate girl who lives for belly rubs, head scratches and being with people. She has yet to meet a stranger – human or canine! Although she can be a bit shy at first, she warms up to quickly and wants to be best friends with everyone she encounters on her adventures to the coffee shop, the pet store, or just walking around town.

Sabra is potty trained, crate trained, rides well in the car, is well-mannered at the vet’s office, and is unphased by loud noises. She has mastered her basic commands and working to become proficient in more advanced skills. She is most motivated by food and requires simple verbal correction for most things. Sabra walks well on a prong collar and is responsive to correction to keep her from pulling towards other dogs to engage in play. While she is curious and likes to explore on her own, she has a solid recall and ensures her people are always in sight.

Sabra is an absolute joy to be around and has nice house manners overall. She is very courteous in the kitchen, doesn’t beg or get in the trash. Sabra is still a puppy though, so will need to have plenty of supervision when not crated and have appropriate things to chew on.

Sabras’ ideal home will be active and have lots of people to share adventures with and another big dog or 2 to play with and help build her confidence. She will need clear boundaries and structure with plenty of opportunities for physical and mental stimulation. She aims to please and loves to learn so may also enjoy rally, agility, or trick training.
