Meet Reza, a stunning pup with an impressive combination of intelligence, drive, and personality. This eager and inquisitive girl is rarely seen without something in her mouth—whether it's toys, bowls, or anything you ask her to carry. Reza takes her duties seriously, bringing items to and from her kennel, cot, or crate without hesitation. After meals, she’ll even hand you her bowl when she’s finished!
Reza thrives in a structured environment, excelling in learning new tasks and chores. With her strong work ethic, she could easily transition into an obedience, ringsport, nose work, or tracking role, depending on your preference. Though she loves to work, she also has a nice “off-switch” and remains calm around other dogs and people, staying focused on her handler and the job at hand.
While Reza is still perfecting her ability to stay focused when sniffing, she is highly motivated by toys and food, and responds well to both. Her tug game is strong, and she is learning a reliable “out” (release). Reza is trained in French commands, and her confidence has soared since she arrived. She’s not intimidated by surfaces or heights and enjoys dunking her toys in water, which provides plenty of laughs.
She is soft enough to take verbal corrections without issue, returning to her work immediately without any setbacks. Early in her training, Reza showed some defensiveness when being corrected into a down position, likely due to past handling experiences. However, her confidence has been rebuilt, and she is now much more confident and well-adjusted. While her suitability for protection sports/ringsports is still developing, her temperament is solid, and she is showing promise for future work in these areas.
We believe her early handling may have influenced her reaction to certain corrections, but she is now on the right path with her training, and we are building her confidence step by step. Reza’s ideal home would be with a serious handler experienced in working dogs. Due to her temperament, she is not suited for homes with small children or cats, though with proper guidance, she may do well with farm animals.
Serious inquiries only for this exceptional young dog, as she has so much to offer to the right partner.
