Panda is curious, adventurous, a little sweet and a little spicy. She engages well with her handler and is up for anything! She likes to play rough with the other dogs, is tenacious and bossy. Her handler engagement is one of her best qualities and she soaks up learning new things. She loves to be near and her cute shiny little face starting up at you would melt any heart.

Panda is well socialized, does well with strangers, children, visitors to the house, other dogs, and has been introduced to cats, chickens, geese and sheep. She is interested in chasing small animals if they run, including small dogs. She will bark at people or other animals if she's over stimulated so careful redirection is needed so this doesn’t become a bad habit.

This adorable little firecracker does well in the car, is easy going at the vets’, and is potty and crate trained. She is still a puppy so careful supervision is needed to ensure she doesn’t chew things, counter surf, or steal your favorite slippers which are the best prize in her mind. Panda has mastered some basic skills and working hard to become proficient in more. Food is her biggest motivator and verbal correction is sufficient once a relationship is built with her handler. Her incredible smarts and eagerness to please has made training fun and rewarding.

Panda is a hard-working dog and likes to be the boss so will need a handler with breed experience. Her ideal family is busy, active, and interested in pursuing competitive sports. She would do well with other larger male dogs and older children but should not be in a home with small animals or young children. Panda’s person will need to provide firm boundaries, structure, and a balance of physical and mental stimulation. With her love of water, high prey drive, speed, and desire to engage, she would likely excel in Lure Coursing, dock diving, and ring sports.
