ABOUT MARIN
~DOB: 3/1/2023
Weight: 30 pounds
Energy level: Moderate
Overall drive: Moderate
Location: Shingletown, CA
Marin is an extremely smart puppy that has ravishing good looks to accompany that big ol’ brain of hers! She is very sweet and loves her people, nothing out there in the world makes her happier than some human cuddle time.

If Marin had a human job, she would be a security guard at a toy store, always wanting to know what is going on but probably playing with all of the toys when the store is closed and the kids are gone. #MustPlay24/7 For being a young Malinois she is a relatively easy keeper all things considered. She has been known to be a little “barky” with strangers visiting the home or when out and about but warms up rather quickly to most everyone. It is tough sometimes being a small puppy in the big human world, I mean, we have all been there! #ToughOutHereForASmolPupperInABigWorld

During her time in foster Marin has been fine with car rides, the vet’s office, and loud noises. Not much seems to faze her other than everything being so much bigger than her. She is motivated by praise/affection and food, this young lady loves her food! Marin is very easy to train with her food drive and lack of needing stern correction, a simple “no” is all that is needed to stop her from being out of control. One thing that her foster has noted as being a bad habit of hers is that she likes wires, not so much to chew on but rather just to play with like a kitten with yarn.

Marin is crate trained but is not thrilled about it all the time as she would rather be with her person. She is always supervised while out in the house #PuppyThings, still working on potty training as there have been no accidents but she goes out into the yard every 4 hours to avoid any potential accidents from happening. Additionally, she is very good at being respectful and not jumping up on people, unlike most puppies. Overall, she is a pretty awesome little pup.

Marin is looking for her forever home that could have another dog, cat, kids, and possibly all of the above! She would need guidance around small kids as she could be a little rambunctious around them as most puppies are. An active family that would take her on adventures, hiking, camping, the beach, etc. would be ideal. Someone willing to further her training and set her up for success is required. So, if you have room in your home and the dedication to take on this fun, close to perfect girl, please apply!
