Lindy is the life of every party! She is very affectionate, easy to please, and is a quick learner. If she were a human, Lindy would be a barista – great with people, skilled and eager to learn new things, and very spunky.

Anyone who has met Lindy in her foster home always comments on how sweet she is. She is a bouncy and spunky girl that loves going on hikes or zooming around the yard, but she is also an aggressive snuggler on the couch! Lindy generally does well with other dogs but can be too much for some dogs at first so will require slow and controlled introductions to new friends. Due to her high prey drive, she cannot share her home with cats, small dogs, or other small animals. Lindy rides well in the car, has done well at the veterinarian’s office, and even behaves for baths and regular brushing. She does best with firm but fair correction and is still working on not jumping on people when she meets them and keeping her counter surfing to a minimum. Lindy has mastered basic obedience, is working on additional advanced commands, and is fully crate trained in a heavy-duty kennel (she’s been known to escape wire or basic plastic crates!).

Lindy would do best in a home with another large dog to play with and would prefer a quieter home as noise can be overstimulating for her. She cannot share her home with younger children due to her size and prey drive. Lindy would love to be a hiking, running, or walking companion as she loves being outdoors! She has also enjoyed some nosework games, so might do well should her new family be interested. Lindy is ready for excitement but needs a great home base and a partner in crime – could that be you?

West Coast adoptions only, HOWEVER, if application is strong we may consider placement in other Western US states.

Must have previous or current, purebred Malinois experience OR other high drive working breed experience. Have no children under the age of 12 years old OR have extensive experience with children and high drive dogs.

Our adoption process includes- completion of an application, followed by a telephone interview. If that goes well, we will arrange for a home visit.

Adoption Donation: $500.00

Transport along Interstate 5 (Bakersfield, CA to Bellingham, WA) is available but cost not included in adoption fee.

For all inquiries, please fill out our adoption application first, as the volunteer answering emails is probably not the coordinator for the specific foster home/dog.
