ABOUT KYRA

Age: 4 years
Weight: 55 lbs
Gender: Female
Energy level: High
Overall drive: Moderate
Location: Kent, WA

Kyra is extremely loving and wants nothing more than to be with her person. She bonds fast and hard, showing her affection by resting her head in your lap and cuddling, being goofy or engaging in a good game of tug. She is abundant with energy and if she has a compatible dog friend, will play for hours on end. She is a dominant female, so a home with a neutral male is best.

Kyra loves meeting new people, leaning in for some love and trying to have everyone engage in the fun, a true party planner at heart! Nothing seems to get this girl down and pleasing her handler is her main goal. Her permanent smile with tongue hanging out and wagging tail will surely turn around any bad day. She is attentive to her person and has stellar eye contact. We’re pretty sure she would join in on the conversation if she only could speak!

She’s highly intelligent and energetic so will need an active home to keep up with her needs. Despite her being a ball of energy, Kyra is extremely easy to live with. She will typically only require simple verbal correction and settles in nicely if she has had her daily workout for mind and body. Loud noises and vet visits don’t phase her a bit and she appreciates the opportunity to jump in the car for the next adventure. She is a busy girl in the car, so should be crated for transport.

Kyra has had a rough past but has not allowed that to define her character. Her ideal home will have someone dedicated to providing the support and guidance she needs to unlock her true potential through training and engagement. She has the body of an athlete, likes to use her nose and is lightning fast, making nosework, agility or fastcat some potential outlets for her. However, at the end of the day, all she really wants is for her person to love her as much as she loves them and to never leave her behind.
