Overall drive: Moderate

Location: Sandy, OR

Kilo loves his people and is a giant family-oriented goofball who loves filling his day by playing and running around his home.  If allowed he is a stage 47 clinger, his favorite place is with you regardless of where you are.  Stop moving too long by sitting down on the couch, boom Kilo is there to sit on your lap and keep you safe in case gravity fails so you don’t float away.

If Kilo were a human, he would be a professional taste tester since this fella loves his food!  Another job that might be up Kilo’s alley would be professional snuggler, not too sure how legit of a job that is but he would be the best one ever!  When visitors come over to his house he will bark at them initially tends to keep his distance from them, once he warms up and realizes they are not there to rob the joint he becomes their new best friend!  He lives with two children ages 2 and 4, and he loves them to pieces!  Also, he will alert bark for people passing by the house and the evil Amazon/mail guy as well.

During car rides Kilo he will bark at people passing by either walking or biking, but other than that he rides well in the car.  At the vet’s office, he did very well during his visit but once he was startled and barked at one of the staff entering the room.  When there are loud noises around Kilo does not seem to be bothered by them in the least.  One of the things that his we should mention which is noteworthy is the fact Kilo likes to sit in the dining table chairs like a human, maybe he was a human in a former life.  #YallGetToSitHereWhyCantI

Kilo has mastered sit and down commands and will wait at mealtime for his food until he is given the release “yes”.  Things he is still working on are stay and not begging (loves food).  Additionally, he is crate-trained and has never been destructive in the house.  There has been a time or two that he has counter-surfed for some delicious food that was left behind.

Kilo is looking for his forever home which is active and that loves taking him on their adventures and throwing the ball for him.  He has been tested with children as he currently lives with two toddlers and does great with them.  It is unknown how he would be around cats or livestock, so he might need to get tested if your home has those.  So, if you have some room on your bed for 20 kilos of Kilo, just apply already!  #YepRoughMetricConversion
