ABOUT JOJO
Age: 3 years
Gender: Female
Weight: 38lbs
Energy Level: Low
Overall Drive: Low
Location: Vancouver, WA
Jojo came to us as an oversized "Border Terrier", upon a closer look, there is nothing terrier about her! Besides her soft ears and wirey coat, she is pretty quiet, low-key and has almost zero prey drive. While her breed is a mystery, her sweet personality is not.
In her foster home, Jojo can be a bit cautious and unsure of new situations and people, but loves all of the other dogs and plays nicely with each. Under supervision, she co-exists just fine with the cats, goats, rabbits (in cages), ducks and chickens. She will occasionally chase a cat or chicken for fun but has no real intent to harm them and calls off easily. Jojo is fully crate-trained, and doesn't destroy bedding. She is food motivated and will work for food during training sessions.
Jojo would do best in a "chill" home with a "chill" human or family. Older children are ok, but little ones tend to scare her. She likes predictability and stability, who doesn't? She would also love another dog to play with, and a yard to roll around in. With patience that allows her to come out of her shell, she will be a wonderful companion for someone!
