Giovanni is a true lover – always up for snuggling next to you or just content to lay at your feet. He is naturally calm when not engaging in play or chasing his ball. Giovanni knows he is outstanding, and his goal is to always make his human feel just as outstanding as he does!

Giovanni is calm, even keeled, and ready for almost anything. In his foster home, he is non-reactive to almost everything including barking dogs, loud noises from children, or livestock. He will investigate new things but rarely engages, even in the most tense of situations. Giovani rides well in the car, has done well at the veterinarian’s office, and is non-reactive to loud noises. He is currently working on bettering his house manners as he has been known to counter surf, raid the trash cans, and be pushy when he wishes to play. Giovanni is fully crate trained and is working to master basic obedience as well as walk on a loose leash. He is very food motivated and is always eager to please his person which makes him a quick study!

Giovanni’s ideal home would be one where he would have plenty of opportunity for exercise, especially lots of games of fetch. He loves attention and would do well in a large household with many people to engage with and receive affection from. With Giovanni’s optimistic outlook and minimal reactivity, he may be a good fit for a service or support dog. This lover is just looking for his perfect match – toss a ball his way and he’ll find his way into your heart forever!
