ABOUT FRIDA
~DOB: 1/27/2023
Gender: Female
Weight: 25lbs
Energy Level: High
Overall Drive: Moderate - High
Location: Elk Plain, WA
Frida is the most puppy version of a puppy there is out there in the world, or at least she seems to think so. This youngster’s fun meter is always pegged at the max, honestly, we have tried finding one on Amazon with a higher reading, but it seems hers is the largest there is! Want to play keep away while running at mach bajillion with something in your mouth, well joke is on you since that is Frida’s favorite game!
If Frida had a human job she would be a great supervisor or manager since she is up in everyone’s business all the time. Not like a “Hey human you are doing this wrong”, but more of like a “Hey human, I can help too!”. Frida has never met a stranger, and everyone wants to be her new BFF (just ask her!). Most of the time she will win them over with a little puppy eye contact, other times no eye contact needed just her fuzzy little body bounding all over is all it takes. She has met small humans (ages 8 and 10) and did well with them. Beware though this little land shark is still in full puppy bitey mode and is rocking the standard sharp pupper teeth. #GirlHasARazorGrill She manages to keep it in check mostly, but a stern “No” is required from time to time.
Initially submissive when meeting other dogs she now holds her own due to the help of her foster siblings. Other dogs are a blast to play with, but she can be a little rough on her feline friends. #CatsAreFriendsNotFood Frida is a great traveler and loves the car, everything about the car, all the buttons to try to help push, the zooming of the trees outside her window, just everything! Frida showed slight concern at the vets’ office but was cooperative. Loud noises do not scare her as she is a leap first and figure it out later kind of gal.
Frida has mastered the Here, Kennel, Load Up, Sit/Wait commands and is already walking nicely on a leash. Other things that she is working diligently on are Quiet #SomePeopleCantDoThatOne, Leave it (cats), being respectful for grooming, and crate training. She eats in her crate, and rides in the car in a crate, but prefers to be where all the action is. This little lady loves to carry things around, but soft toys don’t stand a chance. Tougher toys such as Goughnuts and raw meaty bones help satiate her desire to chew.
Frida is looking for an active family that is willing to exercise her mind and body daily as she is not looking to slow down any time soon! She thrives on structure, clear boundaries and would do best with a Malinois savvy handler and would be fine with respectful children. She would love to have another dog to romp with and could be a fun dog to explore some sports with. Frida is young, impressionable, and ready to take on the world with you by her side to set her up for success!
