Fenwick is and incredible sweetheart with soulful eyes and a heart of gold. This velcro pup is happiest when he’s close to his person—preferably leaning into your legs or curled up at your side. If you’re looking for a best friend with rock star charisma and the generosity of a philanthropist, Fenwick might just be your guy.
Affectionate and attentive, Fenwick bonds deeply and quickly with his people. He’s cautious around strangers at first, but a few treats (his love language) usually win him over. While new environments and large crowds can be overwhelming, Fenwick stays grounded with his human by his side. He’s crate trained, house trained, gentle with treats, and knows basic commands like sit, down, and shake. He’s even got a goofy side—his habit of gently “corncobbing” your hand in bed is guaranteed to make you laugh.
Fenwick gets along well with confident dogs and would thrive in a home with one or two canine buddies who can match his moderate energy and help him burn off steam before cuddle time. He’s respectful with cats when supervised and has met livestock on leash without issue. Kids 10+ are likely a good fit, especially with supervision and those familiar with dog body language.
Though he may try to sneak food off the counter or give your hand a playful nibble when excited, Fenwick responds well to redirection and verbal cues. He loves tug toys, praise, and treats—and with the right mix of structure, play, and affection, he’s eager to please and easy to love.
Fenwick would do best in a calm, steady household with humans who understand the value of patience and the reward of deep connection. He’s not just a dog—he’s a ride-or-die kind of companion, ready to be your shadow, your snuggle buddy, and your loyal friend for life.
