ABOUT DITTO

Age: 11 months

Gender: Male

Weight: 63lbs

Energy Level: Moderate

Overall Drive: Moderate

Location: Puyallup, WA

Ditto is quite the character, and his goofy, bouncy personality is all puppy!  His quirky barking at shadows, raindrops, and air will leave you shaking your head in laughter. Ditto LOVES to greet you when you return home and will plop on you for snuggles, sniffs, and a good ear rub!

Between his zoomie sessions, or romping and hopping around like a bunny, a good snuggle session is a must. He prefers to chew his bones or favorite Kong toy on the ottoman, and after dinner will let you know when he’s had his fill of “alone time” by letting out a good stretch moan or subtly moving his empty bowl around in his crate. Ditto is confident, and while a bit stand-offish with new people, he warms up pretty quickly and will play with both people and dogs. He’s not overly dog focused though and prefers to engage with people. Ditto has taken a particular liking to teenagers and his silly side blossoms around them.

Ditto is potty trained, crate trained, rides well in the car, and is unphased by loud noises. He has mastered some basic skills and is working to become proficient in more. He is motivated most by food, and his young, hardheaded, teenage brain sometimes needs gentle reminders on what is appropriate behavior. He does well with the dogs in the home and would do best with another neutral dog of similar size. While he does live with cats, he does have moderate prey drive so would be best in a home free of cats and small animals unless his handler has extensive experience with the supervision and management required.

Ditto is looking for a moderately active, breed-experienced home. He will need continued obedience work, structure, boundaries, and clear communication. With his amazing energy, athleticism, and eagerness to please, he may enjoy agility, rally, or other team sports.
