ABOUT CHICKLET

Weight: 50 lbs

Overall Drive: Moderate

Location: Seattle, WA

Chicklet is not only a beauty to look at but a charmer as well! She is friendly and an all-around well-behaved and wonderful girl. If she were a human, she’d be the perfect best friend: up for anything and always ready to be by your side.

Chicklet is currently being fostered in a family with young children and she is extremely gentle with them and is always up for a game of fetch. She enjoys playing, walking, and running but is also up to just relax and take it easy. Chicklet is not reactive or aggressive to other dogs while on a leash and has been fostered with other dogs in the past and done well sharing space with them. She has been indifferent to cats and other livestock and will readily respond to voice commands. Chicklet is friendly when meeting new people but can be a bit cautious around men and can require slow, controlled introductions. She rides well in the car, loves playing with water, and is fully crate trained. Chicklet is frightened of loud noises including fireworks and will need some help continuing to build her confidence in these situations. She is working on basic obedience and learning to walk on a leash as well as settling more quickly when in her crate.

Chicklet would make a great addition to a home with respectful children of any age. She is great with other dogs and loves nothing more than to be by her person’s side whenever possible. Chicklet’s energy, engagement with her handler, and eagerness would make her a great candidate for agility. You and Chicklet? BFF's!
