Mr. Elliot is a retired narcotics detection dog. He is a high energy dog with medium drive. His favorite pass time is fetching his kong, which he does rain or shine. Having no eyes has not slowed this guy down one bit! Once he familiarizes him self with his surroundings he is able to live a fairly normal life. During the warmer months he loves laying in his kiddy pool outside and running around the farm.
Elliot would make a great farm dog or hobby detection dog. He has lived around goats, ducks, and chickens and has demonstrated no prey drive. With detection work he typically needs to be run on leash to prevent him from running into things and injuring himself. He is currently imprinted on narcotics odor.
Due to his lack of eyes and high energy we recommend him go to a home with kids over the age of 10 as he sometimes runs into people. We also recommend him go to a home with either dogs that will leave him alone, or have him be the only dog.
