Booker is loyal and loves the company of his humans. You’ll always find him at your side, no matter what activity is scheduled. If he were a human, Booker would be a traffic flagger: he’d keep people safe, work in the outdoors, and would love to watch the traffic pass by.

Booker thinks he is a lap dog – despite his size! He enjoys looking out the window, training with his person, and brain games like searching for treats or playing with puzzle toys. He does well in low-distraction environments and is great with people when inside his home, however, is not comfortable in busy stores or parks. Booker wants to play with other dogs but does have some leash reactivity. He rides well in the car, does well at the veterinarian’s office, and is comfortable around loud noises. Booker has mastered basic obedience and is fully crate trained. He is comfortable being home alone and will be so excited to see you when you come home but settles quickly. Booker loves looking out the window and watching the world go by in his foster home; he is eager to please and always ready for whatever his person might be up for.

Booker’s ideal home would be one that is quiet and peaceful. He may do well sharing his home with another dog but would also be comfortable being the only animal in the household. Booker would do best with older children and would love a large yard to play in. This affectionate, playful boy can’t wait to find his forever person with the perfect window view!
