This little girl loves to take walks, is ball driven, and loves to play with her siblings. Birch is very loving and will crawl into your lap for some belly rubs and a long nap. Her loving and loyal personality shine through and she wants nothing more than to fill the best friend spot for you – always by your side to keep you company, help keep you and the homestead safe and be the best co-pilot for any adventure!
Birch is an all-around loving and social girl who enjoys meeting people when out and about. Her favorite stop is the local TSC where she enjoys all of the treats and pets she gets from the employees and customers. She does well with older, respectful children, so a home with well-mannered and supervised children should be fine. Birch loves to play with her foster siblings and has a rough and tumble play style. She is a dominant female so her adopter will need to ensure she has plenty of boundaries and structure for ongoing success. She has some exposure to cows and will alert bark when she sees them. This was particularly handy when the neighbors’ cows got loose, and she saved her Foster Mom's flowers and lawn from being ruined.
Birch is potty trained, crate trained, rides well in the car, is not bothered by loud noises, and is well-mannered at the vet’s office. She works well for liver treats, has mastered some basic commands, and is working hard to become proficient in more. She responds well to simple verbal correction, and like any puppy will play with and chew items within her reach.
Birch is a special girl, and her ideal home would be out in the country with room to explore and run! She will need a moderately active family who is able and willing to keep up on her training and socialization. She would love having other neutral male dogs to play with as well. She is a smart girl who loves to learn as much as she loves to be the Queen couch potato!
Our adoption process includes- completion of an application, followed by a telephone interview.

Transport along Interstate 5 (Rowland Heights, CA to Edmonds, WA) is available but cost not included in adoption fee.
